According to BBC The European Medicines Agency (EMA) reports that it has been hit by a cyberattack and that documents relating to the Covid-19 vaccine have been stolen.
«No BioNTech or Pfizer system has been breached, and we are not aware of any personal data of study participants being leaked,» the two companies added.
It is not yet clear whether the documents for Moderna's vaccine, which is also being evaluated by the EMA, have been compromised.
So far, it has not been clarified when or how the attack took place, who was responsible, or what other information may have been compromised.
