Great indignation prevails in the last twenty-four hours in Potamos Kythera, since just yesterday afternoon there was a sewage leakage at the point «Pigadi» in the center of Potamos, which flowed for hours up to the Pharmacy Trifili.
After some time, fire brigade forces were called in to partially deal with the situation by washing the roads.
It remains unknown until now, what solutions the Municipality of Kythera has foreseen for the problem of sewage overflow in the main village of the island, since there is still no official announcement about it.
It is noted that for decades, despite the efforts of the residents of Potamos to provide a definitive solution to the problem of the sewer, no Municipal Authority to date has not responded to their agony.
Also, it is regrettable that the stream in the area of Agios Charalambos, where the River drainage flows, has now suffered a huge environmental disaster without anyone's ear sweating.
