Starting today, Wednesday 19 May, at 18:00, the online submission of applications for registration and re-registration of infants and children in the 26 day care centers of the OAED for the school year 2021-2022. Applications can be submitted until Wednesday, June 30, at 23:59.
The OAED daycare centres operate from 1 September to 31 July, from 6:45 am to 16:00 pm (Monday to Friday) and are open to infants and children from 8 months (on 1 September 2021) to 4 years old. As stated in an announcement, a daily creative activity programme is implemented, which ensures the harmonious psychosomatic and educational development of children. The selection criteria are economic (with priority given to children with low-income parents) and social (children of large families, orphans, children of single-parent families, children of disabled people, etc.).
Beneficiaries are workers and unemployed persons who in 2020:
- had 50 days of work in the e-EFKA insurance (with deductions for OEE) or
- received from the OAED 50 days of special maternity protection benefit or
- received an unemployment allowance of at least 50 days, or
- accumulate at least 50 cumulative days of the above (working days, special maternity protection benefit and unemployment benefit).

Specifically, the route is: gov.gr → Education → Registration in a crèche and kindergarten → Registration in a crèche of the Employment Agency of Labour Resources (OAED).
