With a deeply spiritual and philosophical message, through the verses of Greek poetry, the Mayor of Kythera and Antikythera, Mr. Efstratios Harchalakis, addresses this year's Easter wishes.
The Mayor's festive digital card is decorated with the traditional Byzantine icon of the Resurrection of Christ. But what stands out is the choice to accompany the greetings with the entire poem «What then?» by the great Greek poet Georgios Drosini.
The lyrics deal with the eternal question of life after death, conveying the resurrection message of eternal life and hope, emphasizing:
«Do not what we think is a kingdom Sweet dawn is over?; And instead of a dry night the dawn of a day without rain?»
Concluding this special message, Mr. Harhalakis wishes citizens «Happy Resurrection» for Easter 2026.
