Following his successful first attempt at writing, Manos Amblianitis returns with his second book, «The deserted birds.».
Based partly on real events, Mano Abrianitis' new work unfolds two parallel lives: one in the Greek countryside during the interwar period and the other in the big cities of America, where many Greek immigrants sought a better life.
Through a gripping narrative, the book deals with fate, family, memory, and loss, while an unexpected revelation will bridge the two paths, showing that even the most distant journeys can meet.
