Building Deficiencies and Maintenance
The lack of space and poor soundproofing make it difficult to conduct classes on a daily basis, while the construction of a new building on an adjacent plot of land remains pending, something that the municipal authority had committed to. In addition, the school's listed building has a serious damp problem and maintenance work is needed on the courtyard and the basketball courts.
Shortages of teaching staff
Significant shortages are observed in music teachers (such as for tamboura, horn, bassoon) and in national examinations courses, with the result that students of the 3rd grade are not taught basic subjects such as Economics.
Food and Transport
Student meals, provided by the District, are not served in a dining hall due to lack of space, resulting in students eating on the floor. It is also requested that the public contracting of student transportation by purchasing buses and the placement of a school crossing guard for the safety of students during drop-off.
