The spectator can thus also support in practice the hall he/she loves by buying an e-ticket through a special window/”virtualgate” of the partner hall he/she chooses.

A few words about the film

The Whale's Journey - Kitoboy (TheWhalerBoy) Bering Strait, where Russia meets Alaska, in a whaling village where men resort to onlinechat with a camera. Following their lead is Leska, an awkward fifteen-year-old who falls in love with a girl from Detroit. When he finds his «lover» chatting with someone else, clouded by jealousy, Leskka embarks on an unimaginable odyssey. At the symbolic point where past and future merge, this tender coming-of-age story echoes the turmoil of youth and the pulse of first love.

Awards - Official Festival Participations

The film impressed at the 61st Thessaloniki International Film Festival as an opening film and won the Emerging Film Award at the Venice Film Festival 2020.
