The wedding of our compatriots Andreas and Irene Travasaros that took place on January 4, 1987 seems to be very popular in viewings! The video, which belongs to the archive of Theo Travasaros and was posted only on January 5, 2021 on Youtube, managed in just one week to have more than 1300 views, a number unprecedented for the small Kytherian online community. In this special event, one can distinguish the Tsirigians at that time, the soybeans of the couple and share the memories of that carefree time. Of particular interest are the dialogues that transport us to the atmosphere of the time, while the setting of the wedding table in «Pierrot» is equally special. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant of Yannis Lourantos «Pierros», which today is run by his sons Manolis and George, was the main venue for wedding receptions in those years. Most people who got married in the ’60s, ‘70s and ’80s celebrated there.
