Delicious, unique, affordable
«It’s very enjoyable and encouraging to dine at a restaurant that offers something different, without going overboard, and based on local cuisine. That’s the impression Psomoladea left on us as we enjoyed delicious dishes that evoked the flavors of Kythira without costing any more than a simple taverna. Among the pleasant surprises were the children’s menu options—dishes more kid-friendly, with smaller portions and lower prices. We ordered a Greek salad (which was an amazing take on the traditional village-style salad), a bundle of eggplant that was very crispy and not at all heavy, goat pasta, and sidiroporo. The last two dishes were two special and unique experiences. Great service, a well-kept garden, and very reasonable prices, especially if you have kids (thanks to the kids» menu). At the end, the obvious happened. They asked us if everything was okay. But sometimes the obvious things make all the difference…”.
An excellent choice
«We couldn’t have ended our 5-day trip to Kythira in a better way… In my personal opinion, this is the best restaurant on the entire island. It’s head and shoulders above the rest on an island that’s otherwise rather behind the times when it comes to cuisine…We thoroughly enjoyed the Greek salad, the tarama trio, the shrimp and armyra salad, the Symi shrimp, and the seafood pasta. Everything was exceptional!! And with a glass of Malagouzia, everything was wonderful! The only downside was that we unfortunately discovered it on our last day, because I think we would have eaten only there. Otherwise, the dining area was well-maintained, clean, and adhering to all pandemic safety measures. P.S. Our congratulations to the chef!».
