In its statement, the opposition party speaks of «close relations between the family and the opposition party". Mitsotakis and the family Koutsoliutsou», while he believes that the whole «set-up» was orchestrated by Mr Mitsotakis in order to throw the ball to the podium and absolve himself of responsibility for the repeated government failures on the fronts of pandemic, of armaments and of direct assignments.
The announcement of SYRIZA - P.S., states:
«Slowly, revelations are coming to light that reveal the set-up that Mr Mitsotakis orchestrated to change the agenda from the deadlocks to the pandemic, the economy and the party of millions that he has set up with direct commissions, under the pretext of the pandemic and the opaque and without plan billions for armament programs.
SYRIZA ministers have never had any contact with the Koutsolioutsou family.
Those who have attempted to abuse the truth with lies and slanderous insinuations will soon be judged by justice.
On the contrary, as it is revealed today, the Mitsotakis family has had close relations with the Koutsolioutsos family for years, and not only socially, since the Koutsolioutsos' business has been financed since 2014 by the company Endeavor, co-founded by Mr Mitsotakis' wife.
So we are waiting for him to give answers, because whether he wants to or not, the set-up he is attempting is so blatant that sooner or later the revelations will start to unravel the tangle.
So we ask:
-What is his family's relationship with the Koutsolioutsus suspects?;
-With how much money and which businesses of the Koutsoliutsis were financed by the Endeavor company?;
We await with interest the answers of the New Democracy and Mr Mitsotakis personally.»
