Tragedy in Thebes where a man lost his life when the single-engine aircraft he was piloting crashed into farmland.
The accident occurred near the Athens-Lamia National Highway. at the 96th kilometer, outside Thebes.
The crash occurred during landing on the runway of the Thiva Air Club. The small aircraft banked sharply and crashed 50 meters before the fence, without endangering other people.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and recovered the body of the pilot, aged between 70 and 75.
