In Thessaloniki, takes place on Thursday, December 17, 2020, the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, in order to discuss with city officials the epidemiological data for the city and the wider region, as well as the operational plan for protection against the COVID-19, which has been prepared in anticipation of the holidays.
Mr. Hardalias will be at the headquarters at 4:30 p.m. Region of Central Macedonia, where a meeting with the regional governor will take place, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the deputy regional governors of Thessaloniki, the directors of the 3rd and 4th Health Regions of Macedonia, Panagiotis Boyatzidis and Dimitrios Tsalikakis, respectively, as well as the rector of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Nikos Papaioannou.
Next, at 6:00 p.m., he will meet with the mayor at Thessaloniki City Hall, Konstantinos Zervas, with the participation of the Deputy Chief of Police of Thessaloniki, Georgios Douvalis, the Fire Department’s Operations Coordinator for Central and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Spyridon Varsamis, as well as municipal officials.
At 7:30 p.m., the deputy minister will hold a meeting at the Panorama City Hall with the executive committee of the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Macedonia, specifically with the president and mayor of Pylaia–Chortiatis, Ignatios Kaitezidis, the vice president and mayor of Neapoli–Sykies, Simos Daniilidis, and the secretary general, Thessaloniki City Council member Vasilis Gakis; Lazaros Kyrizoglou, Vice President of KEDE and mayor of Ampelokipi-Menemeni, will also participate.
Finally, at 9:00 p.m., Mr. Hardalias will hold a meeting with the commander of the Central Macedonia Fire Department, Brigadier General Dimitrios Kontogiannis, and the commander of the Thessaloniki Regional Fire Department, Brigadier General Nikolaos Athanatos, with the participation of all the commanders of the Fire Department stations and units in the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki.
