The instability in the country continues on Tuesday 30/08. According to the latest forecast data of the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr local showers and thunderstorms are expected from noon onwards mainly in the mountainous continental areas (except the eastern parts of Thrace), in the mountains of Crete and possibly in the Ionian Sea and on islands of the East Aegean Sea. The phenomena in Pindos and in the mountains of Western Central Greece and the Peloponnese will be strong in places and in some cases will be accompanied by hail. The map shows the indicative precipitation expected in the afternoon hours and the areas where the strongest phenomena are expected.
