At high levels, as expected are the nominal electricity tariffs for September announced late last night by suppliers. Interest now turns to the level of the subsidy the government will announce for next month, which is intended to keep final consumer prices close to the August level.
The indicative prices given by suppliers are: PPC: 0.788 euro per kilowatt-hour for consumption up to 500 kilowatt-hours per month and 0.8 euro for more than 500 kilowatt-hours. The charge for the night tariff is EUR 0,747 for overnight tariffs. Fixed 3,5 euro per month.
Protergia: EUR 0,78213 per kWh and EUR 0,77855 for the night tariff. Fixed 5 euros per month.
Heron: EUR 0,750 per kilowatt-hour and 0,6 with a consistency discount of 20 %. Fixed 3 euro per month.
Elpedison: tariffs depending on the program range from 1.0864 to 1.1367 euros per kilowatt hour and a loyalty pass is provided for the following month which for August was set at 0.4 euros per kilowatt hour.
NRG: EUR 0,748-0,768 per kWh. Fixed 1,8-5 EUR per month.
Zenith: EUR 0,687 - 0,697 per kWh. Fixed 4-4,5 euros per month.
The price of electricity on the Exchange is currently at a high level (EUR 377.72 per megawatt hour) despite the reduced demand and the increased (20.91 ttpa3T) contribution of lignite in the energy mix.
