Lefteris Petrounias with an excellent performance and a score of 15.100 in the qualification of the rings, qualified for the final of the European Gymnastics Championships and will claim his 6th gold medal in the event.
Lefteris Petrounias will compete for the gold medal that will put him at the top of the European gymnastics world in the final on Sunday 21 August.
With his five gold medals (2015, 2016, 2017, 2017, 2018, 2021), Petrounias is the multiple ring winner, surpassing last year's 90s Italian superstar Yuri Keki.
If he wins 6th in Munich, he will equal the achievement of Hungarian side horse specialist Christian Berky (2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012).
The Greek champion scored 15.100 in his attempt and qualified easily for the final on Sunday 21 August.
