Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to Turkey’s recent actions and the escalation of its aggressive rhetoric toward Greece in remarks to his counterparts at the EuropeanCouncil.
Government sources report that the prime minister even referred to the statements made on Thursday by Turkish Vice President F. Oktay from the occupied territories.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis reiterated that it is up to Turkey to de-escalate the tension.
In addition, he expressed his satisfaction to his counterparts regarding the support and the relevant reference in the European Council’s Conclusions.
