A total of €58 million will be paid to over 71,000 beneficiaries during the week of 20-24 June, as part of the scheduled payments by the e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (PES).
In particular, as stated in a statement by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs:
- The following will be paid by e-FICA:
EUR 15.3 million to 680 beneficiaries following the adoption of one-off decisions.
€10.3 million to 28,100 beneficiaries for cash benefits (maternity, pregnancy, sickness, accident and funeral expenses).
€215,000 to 1,250 beneficiaries for the payment of overdue health debts.
- The following payments will be made by the FRA:
€11 million to 29,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment and other benefits.
€20 million to 10,000 beneficiaries under subsidised employment programmes.
€700,000 to 1,000 mothers for subsidised maternity leave.
€500,000 to 1,000 beneficiaries for public benefit programmes.
