Region of Attica: Schools closed tomorrow

Whether or not daycare centers are open is the responsibility of the municipalities, which will notify those concerned.

The Region of Attica issued a statement regarding school operations for tomorrow, Thursday, January 27.

The announcement states:

«With the aim of accident prevention and to better protect children's safety, by decision of the Regional Governor of Attica, G. Patoulis and following relevant recommendations and proposals from the respective municipalities, Primary and secondary schools will remain closed and there will be no in-person classes tomorrow, Thursday, January 27.

Please note that the decision on whether or not to operate daycare centers is the responsibility of the municipalities, which will inform those concerned.

According to a post by the mayor of Kythira, Efstratios Charhalakis, the municipal daycare center will also remain closed on Thursday.
