A statement via the show «To Porino» made on Tuesday by Stathis Panagiotopoulos, in the wake of the furore caused by the news that he had posted videos and photos of sexual content on a website without his ex-partner's consent.
It is recalled that after the noise and the outcry caused on social media, the production of «Radio Arvyla» decided the definitive expulsion of Stathis Panagiotopoulos from the show.

«I did an unacceptable act at the expense of a man who had not harmed me. I did this act under the influence of bad circumstances in my life, with no intention of harming, offending or injuring anyone. It was a huge imprudence, the worst I have ever done and I am facing the consequences. I bitterly and sincerely regret it, in fact not a day goes by to this day that I don't regret it.
I apologized to the person in question and made amends in person without considering that my remorse cancels out the wrongfulness of my action. I now apologise publicly. I also apologize to my fellow friends-colleagues on the show I co-host, who had no idea of my faux pas, and I put them in a very awkward position. Henceforth I am abstaining from the show wanting to relieve them of this embarrassment. I sincerely repented, and I can only apologize once again from the bottom of my heart to the person I offended.».

The wave of outrage on social media after the revelations about revenge porn led to the immediate removal of Stathis Panagiotopoulos from the «Radio Arvyla», with the announcement being made by Antonis Kanakis.
«It's a very, very difficult and strange day for Radio Arvila,» he said at the start of the show. «One of the most difficult ones we've experienced. Radio Arbyla for us is love, it's community. We are very, very sad, we are confused. I don't know exactly how it's going to go. We apologize, we will say what we have to say as calmly as possible,» he said among other things.
«We will not continue our cooperation with Stathis. We feel sad and betrayed by all that has happened», added Antonis Kanakis, while the other participants of the show were visibly affected. Both Giannis Servetas and Christos Kyousis, who among others mentioned that they are parents and should protect their children from such behavior.

Official ANT1 also issued a statement for the removal of Stathis Panagiotopoulos from the channel. The statement reads:
«ANT1 has always condemned and will always condemn unequivocally abusive behaviour, acts and practices that offend human dignity and privacy.
The station applauds the quick reflexes and the determination shown by Antonis Kanakis, taking the decision to remove Stathis Panagiotopoulos from the potential of the “Radio Arvyla” and “VINYLIO” shows, which is in perfect harmony with the timeless principles and values of the station».
According to what is known, the Stathis Panagiotopoulos and the woman in question met in Alonnisos, where the presenter maintains a country house and a shop.
The two developed a relationship, however, after their separation the presenter reportedly moved on to publication of three videos and 300 photos, without the woman's consent, in pornographic websites.
