The new measures for unvaccinated persons, certificate, working hours

Additional measures to protect public health announced the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during the message addressed to citizens on the pandemic, with the aim, he said, of having a better Christmas this year than last year.

In particular, it announced that from next Monday all unvaccinated adults will not be allowed to enter closed rooms. Thus, the “blockade” on unvaccinated people will apply to cinemas, theatres, museums, gyms and other closed rooms, in addition to restaurants. Their entry will not even be possible by showing a test. As regards the functions in churches, believers who have not been vaccinated will have to present a negative laboratory test.

Also, the certificate of admission to enclosed areas for vaccinated persons over 60 years of age expires seven months from its publication. This means that they will be given one month to be vaccinated with the third dose after six months.

At the same time, in the public and private sectors, rolling working hours are extended, in order to avoid overcrowding, especially at arrival and departure times, and additional congestion at certain times on public transport.

After all, controls are intensified and the National Health System is further strengthened. Private Intensive Care Units are already being used, while in areas of high pressure the services of private doctors are also urged.
