Response to what the president of SYRIZA-PS, Alexis Tsipras at the youth congress of SYRIZA gave through a written statement, the State Secretary to the Prime Minister and Government Spokesman, Yannis Economou.
In particular, Mr. Economou pointed out that:
«In his speech today, Mr Tsipras highlighted the fundamental difference that separates our perceptions of the role of the younger generation. We do not want a new generation that will shake trees to make apples fall. Nor do we talk about revanchism and new divisions, which he and Mr Polakis dream of using clichés from past decades. What young people want are results that will give them real opportunities to live better than their parents.
