The process of recovering 17 passengers from a British-flagged yacht that sank for reasons unknown at this time in the sea area northwest of Milos is underway. Initially, it was reported that there were 18 people on board the boat.
The Sea Jet 2 speedboat is already at the scene of the incident and has begun the process of rescuing passengers from the sea. Three Coast Guard vessels and passing ships, a Navy helicopter, and an Air Force helicopter have rushed to the scene.
