The government has decided that from Thursday, July 8, all catering and entertainment venues will operate exclusively with seated seating and with the capacity rules set by the Ministry of Development, announced the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, in an emergency briefing.
Those businesses that are inspected and found to be in breach will face an immediate penalty of temporary suspension of activity, he stressed.
At the same time, he said that the average age of cases is 27 years and 99% of those who end up being unvaccinated.
