KINAL: The New Democracy party's policy on crime has failed – It does not listen, it does not see, it does not act

The Movement for Change commented on the two brutal murders in Sepolia and Vari, of people associated with the nightlife, in a statement issued by the party's Citizen Protection Sector.

«With police and security departments understaffed and lacking operational plans to combat organized crime, the country appears to be an open field for gangs.

This is demonstrated by the decision of the leadership of the Ministry of Citizen Protection to use Latin American tactics to avoid getting involved in “troublesome disturbances.”.

Siesta and sombrero. He hears nothing, sees nothing, does nothing. And he leaves citizens unprotected, with fear of crime spreading everywhere,» says the sarcastic comment by KINAL.

He adds that the brutal murders in Sepolia and Vari quickly reminded us that the New Democracy party's policy on crime has failed.

It also notes that the uncontrolled and relentless activity of criminal organizations, which are rampant in the capital and major urban centers of the country, killing indiscriminately, weighs heavily on the government and highlights its enormous responsibilities, while calling on it to draw up an immediate plan to curb crime.
