The clergy of Kythera and Antikythera issued a statement regarding the Holy Week and Easter Holy Masses after the Priestly Synaxis held on Friday 23 April 2021.
The clergy of the Holy Metropolis in their statement among others stress: «We declare responsibly as God's servants that we are unable to consciously implement the programme of the Risen Christ and the Easter Mass, as prescribed».
They then add: «having the joyful blessing of Mons. Our Bishop of Kythera and Antikythera, Metropolitan Seraphim, we will celebrate the ceremony and the Divine Liturgy of the Resurrection on Easter Day, beginning with the Vigil of Pentecost at 5 a.m., followed by the ceremony of the Resurrection, the Holy Mass and the Resurrection Divine Liturgy.’.
