- March 6 (Melina Merkouri Memorial Day): Dedicated to the woman who made her name synonymous with the campaign for the return of the Parthenon Marbles and the promotion of Greek culture.
- April 18 (International Day for Monuments): Established by ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites), it offers the perfect opportunity for a springtime stroll through open-air archaeological sites.
- May 18 (International Museum Day): A day of celebration for museums around the world, featuring a host of concurrent events, guided tours, and free admission.

The Winter Season: Free Sundays

From November 1 through March 31 Every year, admission is free on first and the the third Sunday every month.
