As reported by Rostov ο Thanasis Avgerinos, the Ukrainian president speaks of temporarily occupied territories, alluding to the Crimean Peninsula, which has been under Russian control since 2014, while regarding Donbas, he refers to “non-internationally recognized republics” that are recognized only by Russia, and he is ready to discuss the matter and find some kind of compromise.
At the same time, in the interview he notes that the prospect of NATO membership has lost its appeal for him, because, as he appears to say, he has realized that the Alliance is not ready to accept Ukraine and fears further confrontation with Russia.
It is worth noting, however, that Volodymyr Zelenskyy states in his interview that we are not ready for dialogue, nor are we ready to capitulate.
