We received information from the press office of the Region of the Islands for the visit of the Vice-Regional Governor of the Islands Ms Vasso Theodorakopoulou-Bogris in Kythera.
A visit to Kythera will take place on Tuesday 27 October by the Vice-Regional Governor of the Islands, Ms Vasso Theodorakopoulou-Bogris, in view of the anniversary celebrations for the 28th anniversary of theη October.
Specifically, on Wednesday he will attend the official Doxology at the Metropolitan Church of Christ Crucified in Chora, Kythera, presided by His Eminence, Metropolitan Seraphim of Kythera and Antikythera. There will be a memorial service at the Memorial of the Fallen at Stai Square and wreath laying by the Vice-Regional Governor, the Mayor of Kythera Mr. Efstratios Harhalakis and the Commander of the Naval Station of Kythera Commander Commander Mr. Emmanuel Ablianitis. The anniversary celebrations will be held with full implementation of the special measures to prevent the risk of spreading covid-19.
During her stay in Kythera, Mrs Theodorakopoulou-Bogri is going to meet with local authorities of the island. Finally, her departure is scheduled for Thursday 29 October.
