An alarm was triggered at noon on Friday when a man armed with a bat stormed into the ERT radio building in Agia Paraskevi.
According to police sources, the man broke through the security barrier with his car, driving into the courtyard of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation.
A large police force rushed to the area as the unknown man, in a state of frenzy, stormed into the building. Eventually, the police managed to subdue the intruder and then take him into custody.
So far, there are no reports of injuries.
