A remarkable event took place on the eve of Epiphany in Lamia. As reported by lamiareport.gr, a priest from his parish Lianokladiou on the eve of the Epiphany He climbed onto a fire truck and started shooting holy water from the fire hose. A passing driver who couldn't believe his eyes filmed the video that's going viral online.

In fact, the Municipality of Lamia, having been informed of the incident, issued the following statement:
«Regarding a video that has been circulated and implies the involvement of the Municipality of Lamia in the actions of a clergyman, we would like to note the following. On January 4, 2021, this priest submitted a request to the Municipality for the use of this specific fire truck to perform cleanup work in the courtyard of the church.”.
This is the umpteenth time that a similar request has been submitted by this particular priest regarding this specific church, a request that is usually granted—and immediately at that. The Municipality of Lamia makes it absolutely clear that this constitutes a misrepresentation to the municipal authorities. It had received no notification regarding this specific use of the fire truck. Upon being informed of the incidents, an internal investigation was ordered to clarify the facts and determine who is responsible.».
