A phone call took place this afternoon between the Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros and his French counterpart, as part of the new Greek-French defense agreement.
As revealed by the network's main newscast OREN, among other things, they discussed developments in eastern Mediterranean, as well as the issue of mutual defence assistance. The two chiefs of the Armed Forces agreed to hold a formal meeting following the ratification of the agreement, in order to decide how mutual defense assistance will be implemented in practice, as well as how threats in the broader region will be addressed.
