Yorgos Lanthimos’s *Poor Things* won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy or Musical, while the film “Oppenheimer” dominated the film awards ceremony in the U.S.
“Oppenheimer” won five Golden Globes, including Best Drama Film and Best Actor and Supporting Actor for Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr.
Christopher Nolan won his first Golden Globe for directing the film.
Yorgos Lanthimos’s “Poor Things” beat out Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” to win the Best Motion Picture award in the Comedy or Musical category, while its lead actress, Emma Stone, was honored with the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical.
Barbie won two awards, one for Best Song for Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For” and the Golden Globe in the new category of Motion Picture and Box Office Achievement of the Year.
