It begins today, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., the online application submission for enrollment and re-enrollment of infants and toddlers at the 26 daycare centers from the Public Employment Service (PES) for the 2022–2023 school year, which may be submitted through June 30.
Accommodation for infants and toddlers is free.
DYPA’s privately owned daycare centers are open from September 1 through July 31, from 6:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) and are intended for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 4 years. As stated in a DYPA announcement, a daily program of creative activities is implemented to promote the children’s harmonious physical, mental, and educational development. The selection criteria are financial (with priority given to children of low-income parents) and social (children from large families, orphans, children from single-parent families, children with disabilities, etc.).
In Attica, daycare centers operate in the municipalities of Acharnes, Agia Varvara, Ano Liosia, Elefsina, Keratsini, Moschato, Olympic Village, and Peristeri, while in the rest of Greece, they operate in the cities of Agrinio, Arta, Drama, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina, Kavala, Kalamata, Karditsa, Karpenisi, Komotini, Larissa, Messolonghi, Naoussa, Xanthi, Patras, Pylaia (Thessaloniki), Serres, and Trikala.
Applications must be submitted exclusively online via gov.gr using your TAXISnet login credentials at the following web address: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ekpaideuse/eggraphe-se-brephiko-kai-paidiko-stathmo/eggraphe-se-brephonepiako-stathmo-tes-demosias-uperesias-apaskholeses-d-up.
