The Property Committee of Kythera and Antikythera announces that the investigation continues to identify the cause of the great fire of 26-7-25 which started from Pitsinades.
For this purpose, yesterday (15-10-25) was the dismantling (dismantling) of the medium voltage power cables from this area, in order for them to be transferred safely and accompanied by a person to a special laboratory in Greece or if required abroad, to be examined by special scientists.
In the whole process and in the following ones, apart from the signatory, the technical advisor appointed by us was and will be present.
We recall that from the outset we have declared our support for the class, in order to have the statutory possibility of presence and participation in the whole process.
When more information becomes available that will be allowed to be made public, it will be announced.
