Moments of grandeur on Wednesday evening, August 16, in Pitsinianika. The annual village festival was attended by the dance band of the Kytheraiko Association of Athens and dancers from Kythera, who together performed excellent folk songs from Tsirigo.
In the video, we enjoy the women of the band dancing the “Papadopanagiotaina” or “Kobianiko”, an ancient dance with a labyrinthine arrangement that symbolizes Theseus' exit from the labyrinth of Knossos.
The group is under the instruction of the well-known and renowned choreographer, student and dancer of Dora Stratou, Sakis Katsoulis.
