The new offices of the Municipal Local Organization of the New Democracy party in Livadi Kythera were attended on Saturday afternoon Sophia Zacharaki, Deputy Minister of State for Tourism, on the occasion of the opening ceremony.
Ms. Zacharakis in her speech thanked the party members who attended the event. She referred to the «new» house of New Democracy on the island, which offers optimism for organization, thinking, communication and action of the members. He carried them greetings of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who shows his perseverance in the very difficult conditions, such as the defence of the country, the pandemic, education. He pointed out the successful management of the government in the tourism sector and the prospects for the new season, which is expected to be good, despite the difficulties caused by the war in Ukraine. He added that the government will boost domestic tourism for another year. He made special reference to young people, saying that the South-West reduced unemployment to 12.8%, achieved the creating new jobs which must be well paid and respect labour law, as well as a record investment and growth. Repeat the Kyriakos Mitsotakis' commitment to strengthen the Greek family and business. Finally, he thanked the president of the DIM.TO Antonis Mavromatis for the invitation.
