People First: Continuation of the confrontation with Souyiannis

Mr. Deputy Mayor of the municipality of Kythera:

It's amazing how contradictory you are and how you contradict yourself in a few paragraphs. On the one hand you emphasise compliance with the law and on the other hand you officially write that you are aware of infringements by a member of your group, but you turn a blind eye. You are trying to hide under the mat the serious internal party problems that your party has, by insulting each other in the presence of third parties. Mr Sougiannis, you cannot make fun of anyone but yourself. Do the officials you are referring to still remember the fourth letter you wrote about the Country Table issue, which you actually handed in; or did you put it in the drawer when the City Attorney called you?;

Your audacity, Mr Sougainis, is bottomless. Your faction, with its donor majority which is at odds with the will of the people of Kythera, fighting each other by exchanging documents through legal advisors and by statements in cafes, but you have the audacity to wag your finger at us and accuse us of dissolution.

Regarding our posts, respecting our fellow citizens, we document them with documentary evidence that we disclose and not with words that, as you write in your own announcements, “are heard in the cafes of Livadi”. In other words, announcements whose credibility and seriousness are in absolute correspondence with your sources, as he himself admits.

But in any case, having made it clear to you that we do not accept lessons in democratic behaviour from anyone, much less from you, we must tell you that in order to get answers to the questions you raise, it is a prerequisite that they be clear and specific and not, in your usual way, vague and confused. So tell us:

A) Who is the entrepreneur you write that we strongly support and where does this strong support come from? And if as you say there was a business that operated for three months without a licence, who was it and what did you as the ultimate guardian of legality do? And finally, can you explain how it was possible for us to know this fact?;

B) Who are these «some people who, either because of their financial transparency or for other reasons, write the laws, regulations and public services on the back of their shoes»? And how do you respond?;

As regards your third question, we really find it difficult to understand. Firstly, because it gives off an unacceptable arrogance about a mayor elected by the citizens and, secondly, because it brutally disparages our fellow citizens, considering them second class. We in no way indicated the way and the protocol (!!!!!) under which any communication between the mayor and Mr. Mavrommatis will be made. We believe, however, that the initiatives for the implementation of projects of small or large scale belong to the municipal authority.

We therefore expect, Mr Deputy Mayor, so that your arguments are not considered unsubstantiated, false and slanderous, we expect full names and clear answers.
