In a press release issued by the municipal faction «First the Man» thanks the businessman Antonis Mavrommatis for the offer of his company to create an open parking area in Livadi. Read the press release below:
«The head and the councillors of the faction «FIRST THE PEOPLE» would like to thank Mr. Antonis Mavrommatis, owner of Kamares Multivenue, interests of the company «MAYROMMATIS IKE» for the free concession of land recently purchased as a parking lot, which even shaped and illuminated during the night hours. With this offer, a serious problem faced by Livadi is finally solved, since the site has the capacity to park a large number of cars, is located close to the main road and therefore has very easy access.
Unfortunately, however, we observe both the president of the local council and the municipal authority, watching this important development with indifference, as if nothing has happened at all. For this reason we call:
a) the president of the local community Mr. K. Kasimatis to take the initiative, so that directly to place directional signs to assist drivers who wish to park their cars in the area in question; and
b) the mayor Mr., Harhalakis to initiate funding procedures for the opening of the narrow but short access road to the parking area in question, after of course having previously contacted the two adjacent to this road owners, one of which is Mr. Mavrommatis.
