In the last few hours it has been observed that various emails are being sent by friends on Facebook, via messenger, which are malicious. Several user accounts from the Kythera area have been reported.
Specifically, users of Facebook accounts are receiving messages that appear to be sent by our friends and point to untrusted domains. Users are advised to be particularly careful and to ensure the security of the messages they receive. There is a serious risk of entrapment and tracking of mobile devices.
The Cybercrime Bureau is available to the public and users are invited to visit www.cyberalert.gr for reporting a complaint or for information on online protection.
