Panic prevailed in the meeting of city council in Patras when the participants, who were chatting via videoconference, made inappropriate comments while discussing the first issue.

The meeting was held by teleconference and the council was discussing a proposal by the opposition factions for the Municipal Council to agree to extend its jurisdiction, in order to take injunctive measures, as well as obtaining a temporary injunction to keep 218 employees of the public benefit program 2020-2021 at work, until a trial date is set in the Athens or Piraeus Court of First Instance.
