Biography
Vicky Sgourelli was born in Chios. She studied English Language and Literature with postgraduate studies in Special Education and Education at the Mediterranean College and University of Derby.
He is a permanent resident of Chios, which he loves. In 2005 she founded the English Language School, now known as L.O.V.E., based on her own pedagogical approach that embraces all children, who learn to create, collaborate and above all love learning, whatever the subject matter.
In 2019 she founded the publishing house Books with Shoes in Chios. Her first book «Memori: The Keymaster of Memory and the Eternal Secret of Not Remembering», is an educational treasure. The books «The Night the Shoes Come Alive», «Am I a Toxic Worm?», «Dandelion's Wish», «The Kingdoms of the Anglo-Saxons and Bea», «I'm Not a Princess!» as well as the poetry collection «The Monster in Me». She aims to spread the core of her teaching through storytelling as she believes that «If you want a child to listen to you, tell them the truth through a fictional story.».
