The Hellenic Society for the Environment and Culture organized a scientific symposium held online on Wednesday 25 May 2022 at 17.00, on the occasion of the accession «5 Islands of the South Aegean» within the framework of the programme «7 Most Endangered» Europa Nostra, due to the threatened installation of wind turbines in their sensitive landscapes.
The scientific conference was attended by the civil engineer and member of the Interdepartmental Committee of the Municipality of Kythera Manos Vassilakis. In the video you can watch his speech - statement.
The topics of the workshop were:

- The impact of RES on the natural and cultural landscape.
- Tools to achieve the objectives of protection and sustainable green transition.
The aim of the workshop was the exchange of views between distinguished speakers and representatives of stakeholders, in order to produce conclusions critical to achieving the protection of the cultural and natural landscape, while achieving a sustainable green transition.
