All Together: Question for the real estate of the Municipality of Kythera

SUBJECT:. Real municipal property of the Municipality of Kythera.

Mr. President of the City Council,

As a self-governing unit, the Municipality of Kythera must manage and effectively utilize all the sources of revenue it can, not only to be financially self-sufficient but also to be more efficient, effective and ensure its sustainability.

The management and utilization of the real estate of the Municipality of Kythera is not a simple matter. It requires method, know-how and strong political will. The inability of the administration to effectively utilize the real estate, is expected to have very negative results in the Municipality of Kythera, especially in the management of the «orphan» properties that will not be declared during the process of land registration should come under the ownership of the Commission of Domestic Property so that it can be utilized by it and not by the Greek State.

1. To inform us in detail about the real estate of the Municipality of Kythera in Kythera, Antikythera, the Attica Basin and wherever else there is such.
2. Has the value of municipal property been assessed at objective or market value?;
3. What are the properties (land and buildings), what is their condition, who are the tenants and what is their lease and current calendar term?;
4. Are there any debtors against the Municipality of Kythera? And what is their amount?;
5. What are the objectives and the management plan of the real estate of the Municipality of Kythera that you have planned?;
6. Who is responsible for the use of the property now and in previous terms of office?;
7. Do you believe that public real estate should be considered a productive asset?;
8. Has the process of submitting the real estate of the Municipality of Kythera - Antikythera to the National Cadastre been completed, who is the contractor and what is his fee? Have any third-party claims to the real estate arisen during the pre-deposition of cadastral data?;
9. What actions have you taken to secure the undeclared-orphaned property of Kythera & Antikythera so that it is not claimable and brings the Kythera & Antikythera Property Commission as the main owner.
