On Friday, June 5, an informational session on first aid was held at the Kythira Brotherhood, in collaboration with the Drapetsona Health Center.
The briefing was conducted by health visitors Ms. Melina Karagiannidou and Ms. Eleni Serdaki, as well as nurse Ms. Eleni Kalligerou.
During the presentation, basic principles for handling emergencies—such as injuries, burns, insect bites, and fainting spells—were discussed. The event concluded with a practical demonstration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), in which members of the Fraternity actively participated, following the instructions of the experts.
Participants had the opportunity to gain useful knowledge and simple practical guidance on providing first aid, which can prove particularly valuable in critical moments.
