For the first time Kythera is included in the property value system. As the Minister of Finance, Mr. Christos Staikouras, the revaluation of property values corrects weaknesses, injustices, gaps and mistakes of the past and broadens the taxable base.
More generally recorded bullish picture for the new band values at +8% - An innovation in the new Objectives is that digital restructuring will give citizens the opportunity to be informed, via digital map, about the zone to which the property they are interested in belongs, and to calculate its objective value.
Kythera was included in the new objective prices
The property valuation system now consists of 13,808 zones representing 98% of the population from 85% before the reform, as many areas of the Territory were outside the system. Indicatively, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Chios, Chios, Samos, Patmos, Karpathos, Ilia, Nafpaktos, the Kythera and other areas with significant tourist activity, such as Mykonos, Corfu and Kos, were - to varying degrees - outside the system of objective valuation of property values, with the result that the ENFIA is calculated on the basis of the lowest zonal value of the municipal unit or municipality or regional unit to which the areas in question belong.
Will the ENFIA go up in Kythera?;
Although the Finance Minister assures that any increases in property values will not automatically translate into an increase in ENFIA, since the rates will be adjusted, questions arise as to the stage of implementation of the tax by region, and we will have to wait for the new ENFIA to see where it will finally go.
In new zones (new inclusions and extensions), which amount to 3,643 zones (26% of the total zones in the system), which until recently were outside the property value system; and received the lowest zone price of the municipality or municipality or the regional unit, significant changes are detected.
Of the new zones, in the extensions of existing zones, an increase is identified in 80% of 165 zones. Their inclusion in the system results in an average increase in zone prices to 41% over the existing, through the process of certified appraisers.
So be patient until we get the regret!
Kythera «paid peanuts» wrote the site of Hatzinikolaou!
The Enikos.gr he wrote on 24 May: «In the new areas to be included in the property value system, first-rate tourist destinations such as Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu, Paros and Kythera, in which the owners of luxury real estate properties pay... crumbs, as they are located in settlements without objective values». So it seems that as long as Kythera develops in tourism, it is entering the «expensive tax lounges» and apparently surprises are expected with the crumbs being turned into ...luxury loaves!
