Images of chaos in the streets of Nea Smyrni after the injury of the special guard of the motorized group «Drasi». The special guard, who was left behind after he fell from the motorbike and was attacked by a group of people participating in the large-scale demonstration against police violence, spoke out against everyone.
Unfortunately, this unfortunate event also shows how untrained the special guards of this particular corps of the Greek Police are and how unprofessionally they acted since they attacked the riot police force that was protecting the injured special guard, as well as journalists and photojournalists who were covering the incident.

The incomplete training of the ELAS bodies, Dias and Action, was indirectly admitted by Kyriakos Mitsotakis this afternoon with Professor Emeritus Nikos Alivisatos, in a meeting at the Maximou Mansion. Apart from the communication management that the Prime Minister tried to do on police violence, the issue of the insufficient training of police officers and special guards was put on the agenda at the meeting. According to government sources, it is not ruled out that some initiatives will be taken in the near future based on the content of his discussion with Mr. Alivizato.
