She shared her love for the island of Kythira and the art of yoga, which she has been practicing in recent years, Myrto Nikologianni, in the interview he gave to Niko Antonakis.
From the hotel's magnificent rooftop terrace Porto Delfino where the summer yoga classes are held, against the backdrop of the enchanting Kapsali and the dreamlike Pot, Myrto spoke to the camera Kythera.News on the inner journey toward self-awareness achieved through yoga, the role of the teacher, and the teacher-student relationship, which constitutes a «beautiful exchange,» as he characteristically noted, and the unique way in which this practice embraces the uniqueness of every person, regardless of body type, gender, or age.
Myrto emphasized the human need to «breathe in» one’s existence and, through this, to learn to enjoy and connect with one’s living space, while expressing optimism that Kythira can develop into a brand in the field of alternative tourism and acknowledging that all stakeholders involved in alternativetourism sectors on the island are working in full synergy toward this goal.
She analyzed the yoga and wellness program offered by Porto Delfino, expressing her enthusiasm for how seamlessly the yoga retreats «fit» into the overall design and revealed how the hotel—and, by extension, Kythira—will become part of the educational process starting next season.
