The lead actress of the series «The Big Bang Theory» played a younger version of the legendary actress in the movie «Beaches» when she was just 13 years old.
The actress appeared on Fox 5 New York and reminisced about her leading role in the 1988 film.
«The world was very different back then,» he said. «We didn’t stay in touch. I was a child, and she was a grown woman,» he explained.
«The director, Gary Marshall, and Betty Midler had to approve everything I did in the movie,» the actress said in an interview.
When asked if she had ever thought about playing Midler in a biopic, she replied: «Sure… My parents always said I looked like Betty Midler and Barbra Streisand… yes, I’m open to anything,» she said.
Bialik also mentioned that the images and thoughts she experienced after her father’s death inspired her new film, «As They Made Us.».
