New Russian strikes against military targets in northwestern Ukraine
The Russian military launched new attacks against military targets in northwestern Ukraine on Tuesday, the commander of Ukrainian forces in the area, Vitaly Koval, told the UNIAN news agency.
He said three missiles hit military installations, but gave no details.
«The enemy hit military infrastructure three times,» he said, adding «a committee is on the ground to assess the damage.».
The Russian army announced the day before that it had launched attacks in the area. According to the Ministry of Defence in Moscow, more than 80 Ukrainian fighters were killed in a rocket attack on a military training site in Nova Liubomirka in Rivne province.
