Based on the Circular of the Ministry of Interior, No. 20764/07-11-2020, until 30-11-2020, special measures are in force to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in all public services of the country, including the Municipalities. In this context the Municipality of Kythera is already operating with a reduced number of permanent administrative staff, as its 50% works either remotely (telecommuting), on a rotational basis or using special permits. This implies the performance of only the urgent work required for the minimum smooth operation of the Municipality.

The public is not allowed to attend municipal services and any application must be submitted electronically. By way of exception and only in urgent cases are allowed to attend the Municipality only by appointment and with mandatory use of a non-medical mask.

Any kind of requests to the Municipality will be answered based on the actual time capabilities of the Service, as they have now been formed according to the above emergency measures, without the possibility of strictly observing specific time limits for the response or processing of any kind of case or request.
